HOW DO YOU REALLY AND TRULY TELL?
...When people set themselves up as spiritual advisors – claiming to have special insights from “spirits” – if that’s what they are -- you want to be as sure as possible that they can be trusted. And it’s not easy.
I ask myself these very questions every day, and I do so now on this very show. Because after decades of criticizing most psychics, mediums and spiritual advisors, I’ve set myself up as one. Sure I had 10 years of training for the priesthood and lots of formal schooling in counseling and psychology. And for the past 38 years, I’ve battled – sometimes even physically – with parasites, poltergeists, demons – whatever you want to call then. And I believe I can "smell" them a mile away -- BUT SO WHAT? Maybe I’ve been misled!
I think the bottom-line answer to how to tell a good psychic is another question: I MAY BE THE GREATEST PSYCHIC IN THE WORLD, I MAY BE A REGULAR ‘VAN HELSING’ AMONG PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS – BUT DO I HAVE LOVE?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned over all these years -- LOVE IS EVERYTHING. LOVE – I don’t mean some sappy, silly, passing childish emotion – I mean LOVE FOR OTHERS AS YOUR WHOLE STATE OF BEING. IT COMMANDS HONESTY. IT SEES THE TRUTH. LOVE CAUSES PARASITES TO FLEE. IT DRAWS PEOPLE TOGETHER BECAUSE THEY CAN’t HELP IT. IT DRAWS TOGETHER LOVED ONES AND STRANGERS FROM ACROSS THE MULTIVERSE WITH A POWER AND GRACE THAT MAKE US GODS.
I KNOW. I’VE SEEN IT HAPPEN.
St. Paul said it best in FIRST CORINTHIANS: “If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing."
The most important mark of a true psychic, medium or spiritual guide -- DO THEY HAVE LOVE?
